About conference

Main information

The conference will be held on February 6-7, 2025 at the University of Žilina in Žilina in the AR auditorium,Univerzitná 8215/1, Žilina.

The conference languages are Slovak, Czech and English.

The contributions will be reviewed and published on electronic proceedings in the original language and selected contributions will be published (after editing and translation into English) in a journal indexed in the SCOPUS and WoS databases.

Conference Objective

The conference aims to exchange experiences in the field of design, application and testing of geosynthetic materials.

Leading experts from universities, research institutes, design offices, construction companies, trading and consulting companies and other state administration institutions will speak at the Geosynthetics 2025 conference. The latest knowledge on the use of geosynthetic products in transport construction will be presented, especially in the design, construction and reconstruction of transport and environmental structures. At the same time, conference participants will be acquainted with the latest knowledge in the field of legislation and standard-setting activities, research and development, education and the use of new technologies.
